The New deal show

The New Deal Café continues its summer music showcase on July 6, 2007.This
event with be hosted by Brown monkey music.com, Brown Monkey is a local on-
line media distribution company. Headlining this amazing event will be
Greenbelts own Lauren Schreiber. She is just finishing up her local tour to
promote her mix tape titled 'The Likeness: Mix tape Vol. 1'. In a recent
interview for a local magazine she explains the title of her new album by
saying "she came up with the concept for the album based on the concept that
before one can be 'in love', they have to go thru a period of 'like'....in
order to find one's self and discover what it is that one actually wants and
needs from that other person... hence, 'The Likeness'. Fans describe her
style of music as acoustic soul with a twist of R&B. You can catch a preview
of Lauren amazing show at Penguins in Arbutus 6/30. Come out and support a
local girl making it big in the music industry.
Preforming with Lauren is, Stephanie lightfoot a Baltimore grown soul
singer who has done shows all over the world with international known artist
like Third World ,Gregory Issacs, Junior Reid, and many more. Stephanie is
just coming off the nationwide release of her album Reflections of Light,
and has a movie in the works due out latter this year. You can also catch
Stephanie Lightfoot at Penguins on 6/30. The show will also include on of
the area's risings stars Jade Fox, who album "ASHES of Another Life" is in
stores now(SoundGarden,Record and Tape Traders). A review of her album in
the Baltimore City paper stated her album was a refreshing reminder of what

is Kimia Collins a soul singer from the city of Baltimore. Kimia is an
accomplished musician that recorded music for local/international producers.
